This is Yoda.
Yoda the Pug
He is a 15 week old Pug puppy who loves nothing more than to sleep, play and generally do what puppies do. He snores like nobodies business and whines like an alien. It’s pretty funny. So as per usual I shoved a microphone in his face whilst he was asleep, whilst he was playing and whilst he was alone missing his owner. These make for great amazing creature sounds when pitched or processed or both! I have used a few of these in Amnesia a Machine for Pigs already.
I am no longer hosting my sounds on my site. I am now using Freesound.org instead. Freesound is a great community of recordists sharing source material for others to use. I have turned to it many a time, and should not be overlooked by sound designers, unless you have an elitist attitude. The quality of a lot of the recordings on the site are great, I have used them many a time as layers within my work. The download is the same as always – a 96khz/24bit wav file for use in any work, with no strings attached, being it professional or amateur work.
