  • May 18, 2011

This weeks sound is something that is generally quite hard to come by. A bullet proof kevlar vest. The audio is recorded at 96khz/32bit so it’s a nice hi res file using a Rode NT3. Once again, this is all entirely free, no royalties/credits/small print. Just use however you want within your projects be them professional or personal. You can download the sound here – http://www.samueljustice.net/downloads/2011/05/FOL_STABVEST_KEVLAR_ARMOUR_ZIP_VELCRO_DROP_CLOTHING.wav.

There are markers in the sound file, they correspond to different movements -

  • 1 – Inside Velcro
  • 2 – Main Zip
  • 3 – Pocket
  • 4 – Unzipped Movement
  • 5 – Zipped Movement
  • 6 – Various Drops

A short accompanying video of me recording the sounds (notice the awesome head bobbin’ going on at the end) -
